Album Info:Sturtevant has definitely passed Racine as far as railroad importance goes. The Canadian Pacific line through it sees far more traffic than Racine's Union Pacific line, and it still has an Amtrak station, unlike Racine, which does not have passenger service. The current station used by Amtrak is not the original one, however - that one was moved to a historical village outside the city. At a separate location in Sturtevant is a little railroad museum with several old freight cars and a caboose. Enjoy these sights from around Sturtevant!

Description:  Why does it say Corliss on it? Because the village it was in was not named Sturtevant until 1923. Corliss was an older name for it, also the name of the Brown Corliss Engine Company of Milwaukee.
