Album Info:Howdy, folks! Spent Labor Day weekend (or, should I say, Labour Day weekend) in Toronto. While I didn't specifically go there to see trains, you couldn't help it--there are a TON of them around the Toronto area. I rode the UP Pearson Express to Union Station, saw an old steam engine at the Toronto Railway Museum, and even saw a few trolleys go by. Definitely recommend, if you haven't been there before! Enjoy the album!

Description:  Express train that makes 4 stops between the airport and Toronto Union Station. A friend and I used it both days we were in Toronto to get downtown. Quick, smooth ride, and it is very clean inside! Definitely recommend if you are ever in Toronto!

Description:  I had the hardest time finding info on this locomotive; apparently, it is not officially part of the Toronto Railway Museums collection - but thats still where you go to see it! Built in 1948, served the Canadian Pacific for 30 years. Now privately owned.

Description:  Notice something missing? Most of this engine was scrapped in 1990, but rail enthusiast Barry Silverthorn managed to save the cab and pilot. The museum had been thinking of making it into a train simulator, but I think they actually have another cab which they have used for that purpose.

Description:  1931-built sleeping car! Retired from transporting passengers in 1960 but converted to use for maintenance crews, so it continued in service until 1988. The museum hopes to refurbish it one of these days!
