Album Info:9/27/21--While driving through Iowa and Illinois, I stopped to photograph some railroad history. The best find was a little tank engine on display in West Liberty, IA! Also pictured are some other stations, including the one in Osceola, which is still an active Amtrak station. Enjoy!

Description:  Though Rockford has been served by several railroads and had Amtrak service until 1981, none of its old depots are still standing. Metra is expected to start running two trains a day to Rockford beginning in 2027, though, so a new station should be being built.
