Like so many other towns along the Santa Fe, Topeka was a recipient when the ATSF got rid of its steam engines. This engine was placed on the old Mid-America Fairgrounds, and is now next to the Kansas Expocentre, which was built on the site. It is bordered on the other side by the Evel Knievel Museum, an awesome place to visit! |
