Everett Railroad 500 |
Description: |
This engine was originally built for the Chicago & NorthWestern in 1953, as #1625. OmniTrax bought it in the mid-1990s, but they then sold it to Southern Pacific Construction Services. The engine then helped lay fiber optic cable on railroads around the country. The New Orleans Gulf Coast Railroad had it from 2000-2013, National Railway Equipment had it for the next few years, and the Everett Railroad got it in 2020. An EMD GP7R. |

As you saw earlier in the album, they also have a caboose numbered 500, so we'll see if one of them changes its number in the future. |
